2am thots

2am in the morning, came back from a funeral wake. I feel very sad. Thinking about life, the brevity of life on earth. What is most important in life? Love, relationships, I feel.

Love. What if you love someone & this love is not reciprocated? In giving, we risk not being loved in return. But would you rather you never step into it at all & hence avoiding all the pains, or would you take comfort that you are courageous enough to give it a try but it's a pity that it didn't work out? Just thinking aloud here.

And in the greatest act of love, God gave His only Son, Jesus, for us. He gave The Best.

Life is beautiful because of love. Life is God's gift, love is His blessing.
